  • 5 years performance …
5 years performance warranty on retail buys. Some competition offer an odd mixed bag where customer service falls through the gaps – such as 1 y on labour, 2 on pumps and electricals, higher on collector etc. We just do 5y on the lot. We are resisting pressure to drop it to 2y from two parties. Coop Bank, with whom we bank have a VISA etc card services provider – they not allow us to sell using visa because “5 yrs is too much liability”. Some grants schemes only require 2 yrs!

  • Thanks, wackokicker …
Thanks, wackokicker. We are trying to keep solar simple because what we are trying to offer is energy saving and carbon saving as our main offering. Ironically we were once turned down by council which wanted to buy solar technology (rather than energy, I suppose) in favour of what (in terms of carbon breakeven time) appears have been a lower performing system. This was because we “did not have enough components in the box”!

Many thanks for your kind comments. Sorry about the lack of sound. The video was really made as a silent loop to show at an exhibition. All other solaryes videos do have sound! You might like to look at (and listen to) the “fun with Solartwin” one.

Probably a nice product, but not very inviting to watch for 8′40″ without any sound/narration. Please improve on this point, otherwise fantastic.
