The solar panel arrays made in the United States are limited and significantly more expensive than those of the major manufactures (most of which are in China.)

Nearly all CFLs are made in China. (Too much hazardous mercury involved.)

Since low tech dirty manufacturing is done in China, and most green technology comes from the US and Europe I reckon that’s a net loss for the Chinese.
